Job Description
|
- The role of the intern is to assist service desk engineers in handling request and trouble shooting issue , which will include – logging /tracking tickets, researching, and communicating with the users about the status.
- Cleaning up.
- Inventory update.

Education
|
IT related education is preferred but not required
|
Experience
|
IT related part-time/full-time work experience is preferred but not required
|
Personal skills
|
.Good communication to understand users’ requirement
.Basic computer knowledge and strong logical thinking is necessary
.Basic English writing, reading, and conversation
.Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Context of the position
|
- Asia IT workplace team operates all IT service desks to delivery f2f trouble shooting service. In Taiwan, all 4 offices has such a desk. In 3 of the 4 office, IT service desk is the only presence of onsite IT staff.
- Therefore, very often a user’s issue has to rely on other team’s effort. In such case, the resolution will take longer time. Proper communication with the user is essential.
- User comes with any computer related issue, and some of them are not of OSS’ scope. We will need to explain the situation to users and guide them to the right support team
