Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the emerging technologies and prevailing research areas

in recent years. It gives numerous opportunities to create new interaction style and user

experiences. In such highly integrated area, there are many disciplines contributed to AR

research and the technology can be applied to many different industries. The

presentation will give an overview of AR, discuss the current state-of-the-art progress of

interaction and visualization and various industrial applications.
