Abstract: This lecture will include current findings of music components based on lesion and neuroimaging studies, including perception and recognition in pitch and time domain, memory, emotion, and long-term effects of musical training causing functional plasticity. Based on these findings, how therapists treat patients with different etiologies using different musical aspects in clinical setting and how patients benefit from them.
