Abstract：

High performance computing today is widely used in the areas of science, engineering and

industry.Unlike personal computing, the capability of high performance computing systems

today is still behind what is needed. The presentation starts with a quick overview of the

current status followed by the problems, challenges and strategies for the next generation

system design towards exa-scale high performance computing.
