計畫內容

Project 1.)  Software project related to location (Estimate that we can work with 2-3 people only)

Goal:        Create a great location experience for Logitech staff and

visitors worldwide

                  Improve awareness of the importance of location for the project participants

                  Learn and grow in software ability for project participants.

                  Identify possible product integration abilities for Location at Logitech

Period:    3 months (3 sprints of 1 month each, starting in January or

February )

Strategy:  Initially, do a short sprint that implements basic Maps features

                  Grow into more advanced location features

                  Final project is to identify project and plan to implement location for a Logitech product

Skills:       Javascript or similar programming skills

                  Interest in Location and maps

                  Nice to have would be Objective C or Android programming skills

Project 2.) Hardware project related to Meeting Rooms (Estimate that we can work with 2-3 people only)

Goal:       Build a low cost hardware solution for Conference Room Status

                 Working with low cost commodity hardware (Raspberry

Pi) to build a physical product

Period:    3 months (3 sprints of 1 month each, starting in January or

February )

Strategy: Combine existing information with a 'new' device that we build to provide practical information related to conference rooms

                 Avoid 'leveraging' existing solutions in favor of building (for cost, simplicity, and educational purposes)

                 Build prototype in Sprint 1

                 Test deployment in Asia for Sprint 2

                 Enhance features and information in Sprint 3

Skills:      Basic hands on skills with hardware

                 Working with SaaS / cloud based Software APIs

                 Working knowledge of integration of software to Hardware (perhaps firmware but not as advanced/complex)
