演講摘要：

ABSTRACT

Modern data center design is an art of integrating a diverse array of technologies, including ICT-related, e.g. servers, switches, storage boxes, internet appliances, and non-ICT-related, e.g. cooling and power equipment. This integration involves trade-offs between different subsystems, as well as between hardware and software. In this lecture, I will first go over the design issues and considerations of modern data centers, and then delve into some of the problems we have encountered in the ITRI container computer project and the associated solutions.
