Our students from Amity are really having wonderful experience at NTHU and few also planning to pursue Ph.D from there.
Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Amity University one of the pioneer institutions in the field of Engineering, Research and Technology, organizes International IT Summit –Confluence. This technical conference aims at providing a platform for industry, academia and students to discuss the advancements in research and development in upcoming areas of information technology.
We are proposing to conduct 5th International IT Summit Confluence 2014 - The Next Generation Information Technology Summit on theme: Cloud Security, Virtualization & Big Data on 25-26th September 2014 by looking at the industry trends and with focus on collaboration and social media as the emerging themes. The conference will invite the best of talent available in the industry and academic circles who will present thought provoking sessions.
This annual Summit is the only program that brings us together once in a year to share our Information Technology aspect for Corporate Industry. It will also help us in developing healthy and positive associations with each other. We have experienced remarkable benefit from previous Summit, and we all help each other to promote the cooperative approach in our industry. This is our fifth annual Summit and we expect about one thousand members from Academics and Industries all over the country.
Our main motto behind this summit is to bridge the gap between Industries & Academics and in the past we have not only succeeded but we have created a big family combining all the top companies and Academia. The last summit associated sponsor includes EMC, ICMR, DRDO, INSA and many more with panelist and speakers from EMC, Microsoft, Oracle, HCL, IIT, NIT, AIIMS, Airtel, Ministry of External Affairs, IOCL, NHAI, NIC, Nokia Siemens, Sun Microsystems, Jubilant, Singapore University of Technology & Design(Established by MIT), Lakehead University, Canada, California State University, USA, Eindhoven University Netherland, National University, San Diego, CA, University of Sannio, Italy, Progia, New Jersey and many more. This time our priority will be to promote new innovative ideas based on our Summit theme to develop the industry and increase the productivity with main focus over next generation technologies, innovative approaches, speed, quality enhancement, and cost reduction. We have always acknowledged the persons who have contributed through their great efforts during the summit.

Benefits to NTHU after becoming academic partner for Confluence 2014:
1. Will nominate 1 Sr. Faculty for Invited talk during Confluence 2014. All the arrangements like local pickup and drop from Airport, Arrangements for stay in Guest House, Meals, Transport Arrangements for Taj Mahal visit and local sight seen etc. will be provided by Confluence 2014.
2. Will nominate 2 students for which no registration amount will be charged for Confluence 2014. These students can also attend some workshop organised by EMC Corporation on Cloud Infrastructure Services, DLINK on Computer Network etc before the conference(Will update the exact schedule once it’s confirm). All the arrangements like local pickup and drop from Airport, Arrangements for stay in Guest House, Meals, Arrangement for Taj Mahal visit and local sight seen etc. will be provided by Confluence 2014.
3. Your University logo will be placed on Confluence 2014 website www.confluence2014.co.in.
4. Your University logo will be placed in all Publicity material like Confluence brochure, Call for Poster, Call for Paper(Selected paper will be published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library ), Conference Kit, Flex etc.
