One of my ex-colleagues decided to startup a company to commercialize their research on 2D-3D video conversion. They already have a prototype system, but want to polish the demo and develop the system (including web-based user

interface) further during the summer. 

Looking for 2-4 programmers with a reasonable subset of the following skills:
        • Very good software engineering skills
        • video/image processing
        • Mobile app development
        • GPU programming
        • Matlab programming
        • Web services development (python and Django or similar) for at most 4 months.

The working location is flexible, i.e., all the collaborations will be done over the Internet. However, the pay rate, to my best knowledge, should be competitive at the US intern standard. The applicants need not be an active students, e.g., it is fine if he/she just graduated or is waiting for the next round of graduate admission application.

I should mention that the precise number of interns he can fund is still subject to the final decision on an external grant. But he thinks it’s a good idea to start chatting with some candidates, since the chance to get the grant is very high.
