ABSTRACT

　　Collective Intelligence is group intelligence generated by the collaboration of many individuals. However, such intelligence is only as powerful as one’s ability to digest it. Thus, after describing two recent efforts, the first focusing on early disease detection using microblogs and the second focusing on collaborative tag labeling, I describe an older effort that effectively integrates information and comment on its potential for the future.
