Title: Converter-less and Storage-less Energy Harvesting Technology and Its Applications
Speaker: Prof. Hyung Gyu Lee (School of Computer and Communication Engineering, Daegu University, Korea)
Bio: Hyung Gyu Lee received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He was a senior engineer with the Memory Division of Samsung Electronics from 2007 to 2010. He also worked as a post-doctoral Research fellow and research engineer with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta from 2010 to 2012.
Currently he is an assistant professor with the School of Computer and Communication Engineering, Daegu University, Korea. His current research interests include embedded system design, low power system, chip multi-processor, and memory system design focusing on emerging non-volatile. Also, energy harvesting and its application is one of current new research interests.
