摘 要:
ABSTRACT
As a tutorial talk, I will summarize battery model for electric and thermal behaviors. Then, I will introduce activities for battery management. One is battery smart sensor. It accumulates the measured data onto the WEB. The battery sensor is implemented with a microcomputer. We have first developed a high accurate and practical SOC sensor using the Extended Kalman filter as a function of the battery sensor. Based on the SOC estimation function for a single cell, the SOC estimation function for assembled Lithium-ion batteries is also developed. The other is an efficient thermal estimator of LIB, and cooling system.

SPEAKER BIO.:
Masahiro Fukui received the B.E., M.E., and Dr.Eng. degrees in electronic engineering, from Faculty of Engineering, Osaka University, Suita, Osaka, in 1981, 1983, and 1999, respectively. He joined the Semiconductor Research Center of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. in 1983. He was a visiting industrial fellow at University of California at Berkeley from 1989 to 1991. Since 2003, he has been a professor with the Department of VLSI System Design, Ritsumeikan University, Kusatsu, Japan. He has served as the Director of the Center for Super Human Intelligent System, Ritsumeikan University, since 2004. His research interests include electronics which contribute to the earth environment -- e.g. low power, smart grids, mathematical optimization of complicated systems. He is a member of IEICE, IPSJ, IEEJ, JSAE, and IEEE.
