2022 Research Internship Program

Work Location: Taipei/Remote

Responsibilities:

• Summarize industry research data and sort out the development context and trends of the industries;
• Perform in-depth investment analysis on technology and the companies;
• Participate in and contribute to the deal-flow processes;
• Assist the team in monitoring and optimising investment portfolios and product development, and organizing company interview minutes;
• Assist in establishing and maintaining financial models;
• Report directly to the Analyst and Partners, assist all duties assigned by them;
• Handle any other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Great interest and enthusiasm on rationalism and logicism; believing “First-Principle Philosophy” is usually the fastest pathway to ultimate solution;
• Similarly great interest and enthusiasm on solving the problem and searching for the known of unknown; with strong self motivation;     
• Undergraduate/Master/Doctorate fresh graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Chemical, Composite Science, Engineering, Business, Finance or Economics; or 1-3-yr work experiences in the technology/investment industries; technical/industrial background and/or solid financial model skill are plus;
• Strong research and analytical skills, knowledge of investment market are a plus, able to work, think and discuss independently is a must;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; team communication skill is a must.

Duration:

3 months minimum and up to 6-12 months depends on the terms. The firm would be interested in having someone who could work for an extended period of time after the internship
