[公告]112學年度上學期資工系大學部專題指導教授同意書下載與相關說明
各位同學好,
經103學年度第1學期第1次資工系課程委員會決議,自103年度起取消學生開始找指導教授及老師開始收學生之時間點規定,
僅規定學生最後繳交專題指導教授申請表之時間。
自106學年度起,本系學生可尋找電資院專任師資(包含資工系與電機系)擔任專題指導教授,唯學分計算、成績評分、報告方式等需依照本系規定辦理。
此外,每名教師招收專題生資工系同年級最多5名。
請同學們與老師商訂題目並線上填寫指導教授同意書,印出由老師簽名後,於2023/12/25(一)前交給班代統一收齊,送回系辦大學部事務承辦人處。
由指導教授簽名之同意書紙本務必繳回系辦,未繳交者視同無尋找指導教授,屆時無法登打專題成績。

Dear students,
For CS 3901 System Integration Implementation, you may start looking for an adviser once this announcement has been made.
A student may work on a project supervised by any EECS professor of our college subject to all requirements under the rules of the CS department.
Every EECS professor may supervise up to 5 CS students admitted to the university in the same year.
Please complete the application form online (112學年度專題指導教授同意書 (nthu.edu.tw)),
print it out and ask your project adviser to sign it. Give the signed form to your class representative no later than January 10, 2023.

本實驗室專題將會以次世代通訊技術暨邊緣智慧來實現智慧物聯網服務, 目前感興趣的專題方向如下: - 探討次世代通訊技術 - 以邊緣智慧為主軸探討三大可能面向:解決手段、系統框架、應用服務 - 霧端邊緣網路及運算 - 網路資安與隱私 I’m seeking passionate students who would like to tackle the challenges in next-generation communications, edge intelligence/AI systems, and wireless networks. Specifically, I’m interested in the following directions: - Emerging techniques in B5G/6G communications - Edge intelligence/AI as a skill, system, and service (EI3aaS) - Fog/edge computing and networking - Network privacy and security |

徐正炘 | Virtual Meetings with Immersive 3D Representations | The project focuses on real-life challenges to achieve an immersive meeting experience where local and remote participants interact with each other in augmented physical meeting rooms. More specifically, some remote participants are captured into novel multimedia representations (such as point clouds), streamed over the best-effort Internet, and rendered in (blended into) the local physical meeting room. The challenges include but are not limited to the following: - Detecting, tracking, and localizing distributed physical and virtual avatars and objects in the joint immersive scene in real time. - Reducing the bandwidth and latency of delivering integrated and synchronized volumetric, 360-degree, 2D/3D video, and ambisonics audio. - Achieving good Quality-of-Experience (QoE) through natural interaction among physical and virtual participants. In this project, we will train you to be familiar with scene capturing, analysis, compression, streaming, and rendering. This joint project is with well-known research groups at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. We will hold regular (likely weekly) meetings with Ph.D. students and professors there. We will meet/visit them at international conferences or their institutions for joint demos on a distributed testbed among the four universities. |
